Introduction to agile working methods
The agile methods are used within an increasingly broad type of project, to shorten delivery times and shorten the feedback loops. Even those who do not actively work in agile projects need knowledge of what the methods and frameworks entail.
The traditional project methods such as PMI, PRINCE2, XLPM and PPS have a strong focus on control and management of the project. To benefit from the flexibility of agile teams, the entire organization needs to understand the basics of agile methods, to adapt governance and management to an agile way of working.
Course objectives
You will learn about the common agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban and Lean Start-up so that your organization can choose the right methodology, or combine the right parts from the various frameworks based on your specific needs. You will also learn to practically plan and implement an agile project. After the end of the course, you should also be able to write good user stories.
This training is the first of two independent parts. You can freely choose between attending both parts or only one of them. Part two, Leading and running agile projects, assumes that you already have this training's basic knowledge of project work and agile methods. In part two, we focus on how a larger project is carried out and how the agile methods interact with more traditional project management methods.
Target audience
We address everyone who is curious about the agile frameworks and the use of them in the project area. You are probably an IT manager, project manager or responsible for a project office, ScrumMaster or product owner, administrative manager, business analyst, change manager or project employee with the ambition to become an agile project manager.
